Rules of play

Children must be aged under 8 years to attend a play session at Let Us Play Little Town. If your child is over 8 years old, please contact us to discuss their suitability as we understand development can vary for each child.

All children must be accompanied by an appropriate adult (18 years or over) during their visit and supervised throughout. Adults must not sit in the café area whilst children are left to play alone in the Little Town. Let Us Play Little Town staff are not responsible for the supervision of your child at any point during your visit. This is for your child’s wellbeing and for insurance purposes.

Each booking includes the admittance of  1 child and a maximum of 2 adults. Please add more children by selecting the appropriate number in 'add participants section'.

Children under the age of 12 months can attend for free with an older sibling. Children under 12 months who are not accompanied by paying sibling, must book and pay for a session. This applies to all sessions at Let Us Play Little Town. All children over 12 months must be booked and payed onto a session.

We offer a childminder discount. Please email info@letusplaylittletown.co.uk with your Ofsted URN and childminder name. You will be then sent a discount code to use at checkout.

All outdoor shoes must be removed before entering the town. Socks must be worn at all times. The only exception to this rule are those who require shoes for walking due to medical reasons. Please inform Let Us Play Little Town prior to your visit. Please feel free to bring grippy socks or slippers.

All bookings and deposits are non-refundable.

Transfers may be permitted with 48 hours notice given via email correspondence. info@letusplaylittletown.co.uk

Let Us Play Little Town reserves the right to close at any time, this will be for your safety and security, if this occurs, we will issue full refunds or transfer to another session.

If children or adults show any signs of illness, please do not attend. If you contact Let Us Play at least 24 hours prior to your visit to inform us, we can re-arrange your visit. Alternatively, you can gift your session to a friend with an appropriately aged child for the session you booked only. Please let us know in this instance by email info@letusplaylittletown.co.uk 

In the interest of Health and Safety, please report any accidents to a member of staff immediately. Should first aid be required, please ask a member of staff.

When taking pictures of your own children we please ask that you try to only take pictures of your own children due to privacy concerns. Let Us Play Little Town cannot be held responsible for any images shared by other customers.

Any behaviour, from a child or adult, that is deemed unacceptable will be logged and the individuals will be asked to leave Let Us Play. In this instance, a refund will not be granted.

Each standard role play session will last 100 minutes, sessions times for our other activities may be shorter and will be listed when booking. Please do not arrive earlier than your booked session, as the doors will be closed, this is due to the Little Town being cleaned and re-set prior to each session. You can attend at any time from the start of the session. However, you must leave at the end of the allotted time so that the play areas and café and be cleaned for the next sessions. We use tidy up music to help the children understand it is time to leave. We ask that you encourage your child to help to tidy up our Little Town.

Food and drinks should not be consumed within the play area. Please wipe children’s hands after food to ensure children who may have allergies remain unaffected.

Only food and drink purchased on the premises should be consumed within the café with the exception of babies and those with allergies.

Please inform us if you have any allergies, especially when eating or drinking within our café area.

Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited within Let Us Play Little Town.

Let Us Play Little Town cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings during your visit.

We only allow assistance animals in Let Us Play Little Town.

Adults must have at least one child to attend Let Us Play Little Town.

When a booking is made on behalf of others, the buyer is responsible for notifying all those in the party of these terms and conditions.
